Louisville Slugger is pushing the envelope once again with the introduction of the TPS Nexus. Louisville Slugger TPS Nexus is an internally designed and manufactured composite slow pitch softball bat. The new TPS Nexus features multiple layers of aerospace grade graphite and S-glass fibers which are embedded in a specially designed toughened epoxy resin or more specifically the X-1 Composite Design. Each layer is precisely positioned at an angle determined by our exclusive, computer-designed pattern. This results in a bat with the optimum combination of performance and durability. Everything from the bat design to the equipment used to manufacture the bat was developed by the Louisville Slugger Composites R&D Lab. Controlling every aspect of design and manufacturing ensures that every bat is consistently produced to Louisville Slugger’s high quality standards. This bat is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISF, ISA and is NOT approved for play in ASA.
